My friend Mark has been keen to try kite surfing for several years. He has wanted to learn all that time.However, being deaf it all seemed too hard, and often the initial classes are in groups of two or more, which would not work.We were holidaying together on the west coast when we became aware of Shark Bay Kitesurfing and decided to approach them to see what they thought.Well Damien (Damo) is certainly one up for a challenge. He had to modify certain aspects of his usual training (helmets with speakers were just not going to work) but it was full steam ahead. The guy is just a total legend.Mark has had three days of one-to-one training. He is confident in controlling the kite and in safety (body-dragging etc) so now on to the next step. Damo gave some referrals for that to happen, as we continue our journey south.To describe Damo as a fun, professional, experienced, confidence-building life-changer begins to paint the picture.If you are half-interested in kite-surfing, it seems to me, there is no better place to start and no better person to start with!Have Fun!John

Love PTS trail races. With distances for everyone from beginner green to experienced black and blue for the smart folk in the middle. If you want to try trail running this is an awesome place to start.

What an amazing experience, did things I never thought I could ever do! Me and my family are hooked. Birthday presents for the next couple of years for sure! Thanks so much to Gary and his team for a wonderful day, awesome guys and great for a confidence boost!

I'm not usually scared of anything but because I have put on weight I was more afraid of the wire snapping but I still braved the course with my son's encouragement. My son showed me something I never new about him he showed independence and understanding how the ropes work he really showed me how brave he was a side he never showed me, he showed no fear through all the height without his mother by his side. He showed true strength although we went over the expected time the workers were so patient you need to be with certain courses I really appreciate you making a difference to my son today his shoulders were up and he was so proud of himself.

A lovely park with views across to Nedlands. A relaxing place for a picnic unless the wind is up, then it will be overrun by windsurfers and kite boarders.

I was walking along the Blackwood River today as I do a couple of times a week with my client, I am a support worker. We came upon Capricorn SeaKayaking, they were setting up. Immediately we were welcomed and so kindly offered a free paddle on one of the kayaks. I accepted the very welcoming invitation and not long after myself and my client were paddling in the deep water watching dolphins jump into the air right alongside us! Such a memorable experience being in the kayak and particularly the warmth and generosity of the Capricorn Seakayaking team - thankyou!

Beautiful place to relax, fish, swim, paddle board, kite boarding and watch the beautiful sunsets we get. Fish and chips, Thai cuisine, pizza or Cafe Barco for coffee and snacks
